Job Description
- Our company is looking for a Driver for the CEO of our company.
- You must have worked as a Corporate Driver and have good communication skill, be able to know the road network in Lagos.
- We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of safe, skillful driving.
- The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people.
Objectives of this Role
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle
- Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the general public
- Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.
Responsibilities
- Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation
- Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes
- Assist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessary
- Refuel vehicles and ensure they’re always ready for use.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with 3 – 7 years relevant work experience.
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record for at least threeyear
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent navigational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must always be avaliable.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Experience driving in a professional capacity
- Experience using GPS technology
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with the local area.
- Must live on the Island.
Do’s and Don’t:
- You shall not drive under the influence of alcohol, or any intoxicant
- You must out on your seat belt and ensure that your passengers do so too
- You must not make or answer phone calls while driving.
