Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Surulere, Lagos
About the Job
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Geography Teacher at The Court Hill College located in Ikeja, Lagos.
- The Geography Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective classroom instruction, and evaluating student progress.
- The successful candidate must work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver a comprehensive Geography curriculum, provide extra support to students who need it, and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Mininum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in Geography, preferred.
- A Qualified Teacher with a minimum of three years of experience working in a school setting.
- Demonstrated success in lesson planning and classroom instruction.
- Proficiency in teaching Geography to a diverse student population.
- Solid understanding of current practices in teaching, learning, and assessment
- A passion for education and a commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with the IGCSE curriculum.
