We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Onikan, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with reconciliation ofbank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide support with financial analysis and decision-making processes.
- Assist with tasks assigned by senior members of the finance team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1 – 2 years relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
