The National Eye Centre (NEC), Kaduna, is a specialized eye hospital and research institution located in Kaduna, Nigeria. Established in 1992, the National Eye Centre is the apex institution for ophthalmic care, research, training, and prevention of blindness in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. The center provides a wide range of eye care services, including comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for various eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other vision-related issues. It also offers services related to pediatric ophthalmology, low vision, corneal diseases, and ocular oncology, among others.
