Nigeria Teachers’ Union (NUT) is one of the biggest labor unions in Nigeria. It was set up with the aim of creating a common front for education professionals in this country. The main objectives of the Union are to improve teachers’ salaries, provide an opportunity for discussions on education development in this country from a teacher’s point of view and overall economic security for teachers.
